Who is Mr KUA Simi?
I’ve been a military pilot flying F-16s for the last 14 years (2006 to 2020). During my 14 years in the Airforce I was given the opportunity to spend time overseas in different countries such Australia, India, Thailand, France and the United States. The realm of property management and investment had always been an interest of mine since I was still in school. Fortunately, with the help of the Airforce and opportunities presented to me over the years, i’ve been able to invest in properties in Singapore and all around the world.
My goal is to help Singaporeans achieve their goals of buying a property in Singapore while remaining financially savvy. I would also like to use this blog to share the many pitfalls and experiences in property investment which I have accumulated over the years.
Why do this?
When I was much younger, I was inspired by a book I read by Robert Kiyosaki “Rich Dad Poor Dad”. The book sparked an interest in being financially savvy and to learn about property investment. However growing up, I always felt that there was insufficient information.
Many articles and books I read were written for property investment in the US and most were not relevant to the situation / rules and regulations in Singapore. I would dig through countless regulations, articles, books to learn the ins and outs of the property market all while trying to find “loop holes” to uncover opportunities in the property market. It felt like this knowledge of property investment was always limited to a privileged few.
With this blog, i’ll be documenting all the things I have learnt over the years of buying property and my own thoughts on the Singapore Property Market.
